6 plain English muffins
1/2 lb shredded sharp white cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1 medium-size onion, finely chopped
1 cup mayonnaise


1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Cook bacon, drain, and crumble into small pieces.
3. Mix all ingredients.
4. Split muffins and spread each half with a generous amount of mixture. Cut each half into fourths.*
5. Bake 10 mins or until browned and bubbly.
*After spreading and cutting, bites can be frozen on a baking sheet, then stored in plastic bags in the freezer.
