The City of San Diego, together with other responsible agencies, needs your help to develop new strategies for improving water quality in the San Diego Region. A Water Quality Improvement Plan is being developed for the Los Peñasquitos Watershed that will include strategies for identifying and addressing high priority water quality concerns in this area.

The new plan is being developed by the agencies responsible for protecting water quality in the Los Peñasquitos Watershed, including the cities of San Diego, Del Mar and Poway, the County of San Diego and the California Department of Transportation.

A meeting will be held to collect public input about the high priority water quality concerns in the Los Peñasquitos Watershed on Sept. 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Poway City Hall.
