The Scripps Ranch Civic Association (SRCA) is gearing up for its annual Recognition Night, to be held at the Scripps Ranch Library on Monday, April 3 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The event honors volunteers who make a difference in the community by helping with beneficial projects, programs, and events. Last year’s Recognition Night honored individuals from a variety of local organizations. Andy Nicholas was Citizen of the Year, Wally Wulfeck was District Representative of the Year, and Greg Pavlicek received the SRCA Presidential Award of Merit. Other awards and distinctions include community service awards, school volunteers, Mayor’s awards, California State Assembly awards, distinguished volunteers, Congressional awards, and Sportspersons of the Year.

SRCA is still accepting nominations for this year’s Recognition Night. To submit the name of a deserving volunteer go to www.scrippsranch.org/recognition-night or email Vince Petrucci at recognitionnight@scrippsranch.org.
