PowPAC, Poway’s community theater, has two upcoming productions. The first is Over the Tavern, which tells the story of the Pazinski family. Twelve-year-old Rudy begins to question his family’s strict Catholic values and sets out to find a more “fun” religion. It is only his mother, with her good sense, sanity, and wry humor, who keeps the family afloat. The show runs through Sunday, April 23.

PowPAC will also present the San Diego County premiere of Nana’s Naughty Knickers from Friday, May 19 through Sunday, June 18. Bridget went to stay with her favorite Nana in New York for the summer, only to find out that her sweet Nana is selling hand-made naughty knickers to every senior citizen in the five boroughs! Will Bridget be able to close down the operation before Nana gets arrested – or worse – evicted? PowPAC performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $22 for general admission and $20 for students, seniors, and active duty military.
