The Scripps Ranch Theatre continues  its  current performance season with Flemming (An American Thriller) by Sam Bobrick. A dark comedy homage to the film noir thrillers from the 1940s and ‘50s,  the play  tells the story of Henry Flemming, who sells his lucrative brokerage firm to become a detective. On his very first case, and to the horror of his wife and neighbors, the Flemming living room begins to fill up with dead bodies. Even though Henry  comes home more disheveled and beaten up each day, he couldn’t be happier. Henry is convinced he has found his life’s work and his town is safer for it. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. through April 30. For tickets or more information visit www.scrippsranchtheatre.org.
