cm_mmrehalloween2Miramar Ranch Elementary School (MRE) held its 45th Annual Halloween Carnival in October, featuring carnival games, a pumpkin patch, laser tag, food trucks, used book sale, raffle prizes, cake decorating contest, cake walk, fun costumes, bake sale, and Teacher’s Pet Shoppe. A highlight for students was when Mrs. Crane, Cotterell, Smith, Best, Lynch, and Oestreich all got soaked with the aqua blaster!

Part of the carnival tradition is the haunted house. Fifth graders help plan and construct the haunted house, then get dressed up to spook visitors during the carnival. All proceeds from the haunted house go directly to the fifth grade promotion fund.

The Halloween Carnival is the biggest fundraiser of the year organized by MRE’s Family Faculty Association. Learn more about how to get involved at www.miramarranch.org.
