Mama’s Kitchen is holding its 15th Annual Mama’s Pies Thanksgiving Bake Sale through Nov. 24, raising funds for the organization’s nutrition services. More than two dozen of San Diego’s top pastry chefs, caterers, and bakeries are donating their time and talent to bake 4,000 Thanksgiving pies – flavors include pumpkin, traditional apple, pecan, and Dutch apple. To determine the best and cheapest foodie scenes, WalletHub compared more than 180 U.S. cities across 30 key indicators of foodie-friendliness, ranging from cost of groceries to affordability and accessibility of high-quality restaurants to food festivals per capita.
